Framing this photograph, I allowed the rows of the vineyard to form perspective lines leading the eye to Mount Meron. Mount Meron is known as the resting place of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, who is revered for delving into the mystical and uncovering the deeper, spiritual essences of the Torah. The Talmud teaches:
"When wine enters, secrets are revealed"

With wine vineyards leading us to the seat of mystical secrets’ revelation, this scene reminds us that the above statement of the sages doesn’t only refer to alcohol’s effect in opening up personal secrets. Rather, when consumed appropriately for the purpose of holiness and celebration, wine can play a role in revealing the underlying essence and unity of the world and ourselves that can often be masked from our eyes.
